Welcome to the Sage Development Organization Page

To change the trac, you must login -- this is solely to prevent spam.

To get an account, send an email to Michael Abshoff (michael.abshoff [at] after reading the TracGuidelines. You will also find information there about the review process.

Sage is free and open software that supports research and teaching in algebra, geometry, number theory, cryptography, etc. Both the Sage development model and the technology in Sage itself are distinguished by an extremely strong emphasis on openness, community, cooperation, and collaboration: we are building the car, not reinventing the wheel.

This web page lists both bugs in Sage and ideas for features to add to Sage. Please help Sage development by posting extensive information about all bugs you know of or find in Sage here, no matter how trivial.

Formatting hint for bug reports

Please use the {{{ and }}} tags to add code snippets and Sage session transcripts. For example:

Browse Open Issues and Review Some Patches!

Use various reports located at to browse open tickets. Of particular note, reviewing tickets should be a high priority, because these tickets are typically almost ready to close with little effort. This is accessible from any page in Trac, by the "View Tickets" button.

Here are the public bug reports from the notebook interface.
