 v2 > - regarding the multiplication of scalar fields f and g, the LaTeX output is changed from f g to f\cdot g. Is this for aesthetic reasons only? Personaly I would prefer f g, which sounds more standard notation. Maybe the opinion of a third person (Travis?) would be helpful here. In general, I agree with you. When I write things down, I don't use the multiplication symbol, too. But in this case (imao), I would prefer it in order to avoid potential misunderstandings in the naming and to clearly distinguish tensor/wedge products and multiplications by a scalar field -- especially when formulas get long. In addition, the multiplication symbol is more "formal", you know? But yes, it is just an aesthetical aspect. In general, I agree with you.
