6In python3, `print` becomes an actual function, so it needs the parentheses (which due to Python's handling of parentheses, `print(foo)` gets evaluated to `print foo`, but having a comma means `(foo, bar)` becomes a tuple). So to help make the doctests 2/3 compatible and to ease the eventual transition, I do prefer the way I had it or make it into a few examples and have a doctest which does check everything (without verbose).
